One of the well-known US publications, after processing statistics on sales of cars by manufacturers, as well as advertisements on automotive Internet resources, decided to publish a list of these models.

The rating was compiled based on the drop in sales in 2015 compared to the previous year, 2014. The number of days that the car stood in the warehouse before it was sold to the consumer was also taken into account. The leader of the anti-rating was the "Honda Insight", a hatchback with a hybrid engine. Cadillac ELR and Dodge Avenger finished second and third. The ATS and CTS models from the Cadillac concern, the Honda Crosstour, the 500 and 500L models from Fiat, and the Chevrolet Sonic are also called unnecessary for the Americans. The black list includes Buick LaCrosse, Nissan GT-R, Infiniti Q60, Hyundai with two models Azera and Equu, as well as Mitsubishi Mirage. Some of the cars have been on this list more than once.

Although the sale of the listed vehicles was officially discontinued back in 2015, dealers can purchase unsold vehicles from this list.
