Ukrnafta's gas station network will be reorganized in the near future, and instead, the company plans to launch a grandiose project for the construction and implementation of modern stations. In essence, these will be gas, fuel and power plants.
Optimization of filling stations of the Ukrnafta company plans to start in the near future. Own filling stations will either be completely liquidated in some regions, or they will change their appearance and structure to super modern ones. Such changes are planned to start in 2017.
According to Felix Lunev, Deputy Head of the Board of Ukrnafta, the company's engineers are currently analyzing the collected data from gas stations and, meanwhile, are preparing a plan for the further development of the company's network in all regions, without exception. It should be noted that now the Ukrnafta company, unlike other gas station networks, does not have filling stations in all regions of the country.
Such reorganization is planned to be carried out from 5 to 7 years. As the deputy head of Ukrnafta said, their company is the only 100% producer in Ukraine, and also has a partnership agreement with the only processing plant in Ukraine. As a result, Ukrnafta can be called a full-fledged Ukrainian manufacturer and a Ukrainian network of gas stations. By the end of the year, it is planned to develop a strategy and begin its implementation from next year. Felix Lunev noted that if a gas station is closed in the region, this means that there are quite a lot of gas stations of the same network in this area. If there is a reorganization of the Ukrnafta gas station, then additional conditions will be introduced. Of these, this is an increase in gas filling stations, and it is also planned to equip power plants for recharging electric vehicles. Although they immediately warned that such services would not appear immediately, since it is not so easy to organize all this in one year. Ukrnafta's fuel materials will be the cheapest in Ukraine in comparison with other filling station networks.
Ukrnafta is the largest oil production company in Ukraine. So, according to statistical organizations, oil production with a gas condensate capacity in 2015 was 67.9%, and gas production was 7.6% of all companies. Ukrnafta owns 537 filling stations; by the end of 2015, gas filling stations were installed at 138 filling stations in connection with an increase in demand for liquefied gas.
